"Black Beauty" Mod. - SWOMCelt Ser.#123120012
Curly Indian Ebony/ Adirondack Red Spruce
This PARIZONA OM guitar truly lives up to the name "Black Beauty". The back and sides are pure East Indian Ebony and the neck is African macassar ebony. The binding, head plate, bridge and fingerboard are also ebony.. The pins, nut and saddle are black buffalo horn. A clear pickguard adorns the Adirondack Red Spruce soundboard. The rosette and purfling present a Celtic knot representing a the continuous flowing of life while the markers are a Celtic symbol depicting air, earth and wind. Ebony is very dense and somewhat difficult to work with but the resulting sound from this guitar was well worth the effort. A deep undertone produces a vibrant sound that works well with any musical style. Awesome volume and projection and fantastic sustain round out the instruments performance. "Black Beauty" is an instrument any Leprechaun would be proud to pull from their pot of gold.
