"Hondo" Mod. - SWOMHond   Ser.#080122016

PARIZONA Mahogany

Honduran Mahogany/ Sitka Spruce

The PARIZONA Guitars "Hondo" is an OM guitar with a resemblance to the old Martin D-28 dreadnaught guitars.  Made of Honduran mahogany with a Sitka spruce top it has the traditional herringbone border and rosette.   "Hondo" sports ivory colored binding throughout, similar to the ivory grips that were favored by John Wayne (who played Hondo in the movie of the same name) in many of his movies.  Although I speak of history and movies don't be fooled as this guitar will have a history of its own in the right hands. This guitar has a traditional sound with great treble and bass and strong vibrant mid-range tones.  Good resonance, projection and sustain are what you would expect from the pairing of Mahogany and spruce.  An elegant, yet subtle appearance and a beautiful sound make "Hondo" a great guitar for beginners, professionals and collectors alike.
